Camp Atterbury ACAP offers preseparation counseling for eligible soldiers;  either in an individual or a group setting. They are apprised of all benefits, location of service providers, and ACAP services afforded them.

ACAP can assist eligible military transitioners, from all Services when necessary, in preparing the Preseparation Counseling Checklist (DD Form 2648 / 2648-1)

Completion of this form is mandated by Public Law 101-510, dated 1995, and outlined by the Department of Defense (Operation Transition) Preseparation Guidebook.
