 Sgt. 1st Class Nathan A. Marshall, a Trainer / Mentor from 1-345th Engineer Battalion, 157th Infantry Brigade, First Army Division East, sprints with fourth grade students from Parkside Elementary School, Columbus, Ind., on Feb. 20 in an early morning boot camp session. World War II veteran Arthur Brown.

Arthur Brown, of Brown County, Ind., served aboard the aircraft carrier from July 1942 until the end of the war as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the damage control section.
