Headquarters, Department of the Army redirected the current contractor deployment and redeployment flow from the CRC at Ft. Benning, GA to Camp Atterbury, IN to occur not later than 1 September 2011. Additionally it tasked the Commander of the Army Materiel Command to develop an enduring solution for NON-LOGCAP contractors deploying or redeploying in support of Overseas Contingency Operations not later than 1 March 2012.

The mission includes educating, health examinations, providing proper equipment, and preparing the contractors for deployment in a five day period. ASC is leveraging existing capabilities, capacity, and teams with Camp Atterbury, MEDCOM, DENCOM, and IMCOM to support the mission.

The Army Sustainment Command staff is located in Bldg 300 at Camp Atterbury.
