For the last several years, the training facilities at Atterbury-Muscatatuck have played host to Vibrant Response, a major field training exercise conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by U.S. Army North. Service members and civilians from the military and other federal and state agencies throughout the country come to Atterbury-Muscatatuck during Vibrant Response for realistic disaster-response training.The Vibrant Response exercise for 2013 will take place at Atterbury-Muscatatuck July 27- Aug. 23, with photos and news being updated throughout the exercise. Information about Vibrant Response 13, conducted in 2012, can be found below.

Members of the Alabama National Guard will travel by convoy August 5 and 6 to participate in a major field training exercise - Vibrant Response 13. The convoy is the largest domestic convoy in Alabama National Guard history with approximately 500 vehicles and 1,500 Alabama Guardsmen.
